With over 8 years of experience in the investment industry, I understand the challenges and uncertainties that come with retirement.
When I first entered semi-retirement, I found myself grappling with the loss of routine, social connections, and the sense of accomplishment that work provided. It was a confusing time, but it also presented an opportunity for self-discovery and personal growth.
Driven by my own experiences, I established 64PLUS, a retirement coaching practice aimed at helping individuals aged 55 and over find meaning and purpose in their retired lives. Through my extensive training in coaching and counseling, I have developed a unique methodology to guide clients in uncovering their true passions and creating a fulfilling roster of activities.
But my journey doesn’t stop there. I co-authored a bestselling book called “Finding Joy in Retirement” with my colleague David Kennedy, sharing valuable insights and practical advice for retirees. I am constantly learning and researching topics related to retirement, drawing inspiration from my clients’ individual solutions to the challenges they face.
Outside of my work at 64PLUS, I have embraced new adventures and hobbies. I am currently immersing myself in the beautiful languages of Italian and Japanese, connecting with a network of friends from around the world. I have also discovered a passion for writing, crafting stories for both young children and middle-grade readers. Additionally, I find fulfillment in volunteering as an ethics teacher at a local public school, engaging young minds in thought-provoking discussions.
